The Dassie Trail Run is the fun\, fast and scenic companion event to the iconic Otter African Trail Run\, bringing newer runners\, fam ilies\, local trail lovers and supporters into the spirit of the Otter wee kend.
\n\nStarting in Storms River\, the route quickly takes runners onto scenic singletrack through indigenous forest and fynbos-covered slop es. Despite its relatively short distance\, the route packs a punch with a number of sustained climbs and technical sections\, rewarding runners wit h spectacular views over the Tsitsikamma landscape.
\n\nThe return j ourney features flowing descents and fast trail sections\, making for an e xciting and challenging 8.5 km adventure with approximately 420 m of eleva tion gain.
